Actually this picture makes me happy because you can see how much in love/lust my Mum and Dad were way back then (I think it's around 57 years ago). It's sad because firstly they are both gone now (Dad four years ago and Mum this June) and also sad because they spent alot of their life together arguing or resentful. I'm sure there were years they loved being together, but as I was the last of five, I didn't see much of that. They seemed happy the most when they were out drinking and dancing together. So I absolutely love this photo but it also makes me sad that they couldn't be like that all the time. I want to be like them in that photo at that time with my husband for the rest of my life.
